The Quilt Whisperers

Lori has started quilting on a new quilt this weekend.  I love the flower motif she’s putting in the corners.  Today she starts back to work – working two full time jobs! So it may take a few days before she can work on it again, but check back to see the final quilt!

Here’s what we’re working on this week.

This is a “Quilt Block of the Month” Hancock’s offered a few years ago.  Lori and I were already talking about getting a Longarm machine at that time. When I finished the piecing I put it away to save it until I could do the quilting myself.  This is my first attempt at crosshatching.  I’m excited to get it finished!
